Keep in mind that people from other toilet companies can write reviews about their competitors without revealing who they are. This may be the reason for some of the bad reviews. Ignore them!!!!!! We were reluctant to buy this toilet at first because of some of the negative reviews, but we liked the style so much we decided to take a chance. Were glad we did. THIS TOILET CAN FLUSH WITH THE BEST OF THEM. We also have a TOTO toilet, and it flushes just as good as that toilet. We even went out and bought the thickest toilet paper we could find and used that in flushing tests and the Kohler did the job with no problem at all. It's amazing how well a toilet can flush with so little water. Keep in mind that Kohler has been at this a long time and they have engineering down to a science.
